Pooja
Mourya
A Delhi girl writing her heart out β one story, one street, one chai at a time.
Born in the city of chaos,
raised by its magic.
Hey, I'm Pooja Mourya β and honestly, Delhi didn't just give me an address, it gave me a whole personality. Born and raised in this beautiful, loud, overwhelming, absolutely irreplaceable city β and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Growing up here means you've eaten the best chaat at 11 PM, survived the metro rush like a warrior, and watched the city transform with every season β from bone-chilling winter fog to the mango-scented madness of June. This blog, Delhi Diaries, started as a personal journal. A space where I could write down all the tiny, beautiful things this city makes you feel.
I started writing because I wanted to remember. The gali chai-walas. The autowallahs with full-on life advice. The Old Delhi walks that smell like history and kebabs. The Connaught Place sunsets that make you feel like the whole world is soft. At 23, I'm still figuring out life β but I know one thing: Delhi's stories are worth telling, and I want to be the one telling them.
Whether you're a Delhi local nodding along, or someone who's never stepped foot here β welcome. Pull up a chair, grab your chai, and let's get into it. πΌ
What makes
Delhi Diaries, me.
Some of my best blog ideas were born over roadside chai. There's something about that little glass that makes everything feel honest.
Every lane in Chandni Chowk has a hundred stories. I'm just the one writing them down β one cobblestone at a time.
No filters, no faking. I write what I actually feel β the messy, the beautiful, the in-between. That's the whole point.
The auto ride that became a life lesson. The sunset at Lodhi Garden. The random kindness of strangers. That's Delhi to me.
Every season in Delhi has its own soundtrack. I write to it, live to it, and sometimes cry to it β and I don't apologize for that.
You β the reader β are why this exists. If even one post made you feel seen, this whole thing is worth it a hundred times over.
Let's talk,
real talk.
Whether you want to collab, share your own Delhi story, or just say hi β my inbox is always open. I reply to every single message, because you took the time to write, and that means a lot. π
